From the beginning of this artistic practice, I have expanded on the slogan, “Take only photographs and leave only footprints”. Whenever possible I remove the “specimen” that I just photographed from the environment. Exhibiting the recovered object in specimen boxes or simply alongside its corresponding print adds another layer of connection between us and our effect on the environment. |
